Stallions
IJsselmeer Ikepono
IJsselmeer was my 16.2hh KWPN approved Gelders stallion by Vosmaer x Taxateur x Fresco, from the Utopia line. He competed successfully at FEI Grand Prix dressage level with Chelsey Sibley. They won the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle Championships for 4 consecutive years!
IJsselmeer died in November 2019. He left behind 26 upper level offspring of which 4 FEI Grand Prix dressage horses, 10 Intermediate I & II horses and a Grand Prix jumper. He also sired several broodmares that are producing very good offspring. I can proudly say he is the best stallion I ever bred.

Lauwersmeer Laka
Lauwersmeer was my 16hh Gelders stallion by Farmer out of the full sister of IJsselmeer, Gisela. I never offered Lauwersmeer for licensing, because I thought he wouldn't get licensed anyway. He was quite compact and small, but a great mover.
Lauwersmeer competed successfully with Chelsey Sibley on FEI Grand Prix level also. He left behind some promising sport horses and a couple of really well moving broodmares, of which I still own two: Ikakola and Zalsa.
His accomplishments:
2008
- USDF Intermediare Freestyle Champion – KWPN-NA All Breeds
- USDF Intermediare Freestyle Open Reserve Champion (Nationally)
2007
- Int-I Freestyle Reserve Champion CDS & USDF Region 7
- Int-II USDF Region 7 Champion
2006
- Int-I Freestyle Champion USEF/USDF Region 7
2005
- Int-I Freestyle Reserve Champion USEF/USDF Region 7
Bravo
Bravo, registered name Bruiser, was my Dutch Harness horse stallion. Bravo is a very expressive mover, which brings traits to the table that suit many of my mares well. Like height, length in the body and a more vertical neck direction.
Bravo is not licensed, so his offspring got register B papers with the KWPN -NA. By taking them to the keuring, they can be moved up the full book if the judges approve.
I sold Bravo to Top Shelf Frisians in Iowa in July. He will remain a breeding stallion there.
Lopaka
Lopaka I bred by crossing UB40 with my Gelders mare Bizou (IJsselmeer x Formateur). Lopaka is a very good mover and a big show off, but he has a very easygoing temperament.
Lopaka is in training with Josh Albrecht of Coalcyn Equestrian, LLC in Oroville, CA. He will be sold soon.
